How many employees do you have?
OneDigital has roughly 3,300 employees nationwide. In Virginia, we have 120 colleagues serving Richmond, Virginia Beach, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Winchester, Roanoke and Northern Virginia.
Brett Walters and Ritter Jonas who are members of the Fredericksburg Chamber are from the Richmond office.
How does your business give back to the community? (Do you have initiatives that you are proud to support)
A number of our associates at OneDigital sit on the boards of several philanthropic and charitable organizations. We’re encouraged to give back to our communities in any way we see fit and when we start giving personal/individual contributions, the company matches them.
Additionally, every year leading into the holiday season our OneDigital Richmond office hosts a toy drive for children at the VCU Children’s Hospital. So much fun pulling all the toys together and getting them delivered!
We’re also a proud sponsor of the Bone Frog open held at Hermitage Country Club in Richmond. The Bone Frog Open was established in 2019 to honor fallen U.S. Navy Seals. The event is about awareness, remembrance, patriotism, camaraderie, and fun. The goal is to celebrate lives and raise money to support military, first responders and their families.
Recently 20 colleagues from the OneDigital Richmond office partnered with the James River Park System for a community service day. Together we cut invasive vines from 70 trees that would have otherwise been choked out over time. Great way to spend time in service with friends and colleagues.
As an organization, we’re always looking for fun and creative ways to make an impact and give back to our local communities.
What services or products do you offer?
OneDigital has the unique ability to converge health insurance consulting, retirement services and human resource consulting to serve as a holistic partner that empowers our client’s ability to attract and retain talent while fueling innovation. With the ability to work with companies of all sizes, we partner with HR & Finance leaders to get them off the hamster wheel of year over year rising health care costs and help their employees prepare for future retirement.
Working with companies on their multi-year strategy, we aim to provide a fresh thinking plan that is proactive not reactive.
What is your business’s proudest accomplishment?
The culture that we have created at One Digital allows our colleagues to grow both personally and professionally. We are consistently recognized as a top place to work across the nation and here in Virginia. We have won the Richmond Times Dispatch ‘Best Places to Work’ the last seven years in a row.
What are the company’s top priorities?
At OneDigital our culture is built on these value drivers:
How do you keep your employees motivated?
By building the culture that OneDigital has, employees know that their leadership respects them and encourages their personal growth and development. We work hard at engagement and aligning skill sets that allow colleagues to thrive and show up at their best every day.
What else would you like to tell us about your business?
OneDigital has partnered with the Mary Washington Health System on a health insurance plan designed for small businesses in the Fredericksburg area to help them take control of the cost of providing employer sponsored health insurance. We would love an opportunity to share more with the Chamber members.
Additionally, we are excited to share our expertise centered around the CARES Act – Employee Retention Credit. (“ERC”) We are in the process of conducting eligibility calls with Chamber member companies to determine refund amounts.
As an organization, OneDigital has successfully driven refunds for over 1,500 of our clients across the nation in the last year and 27 companies here in Virginia just over the last quarter out of our Richmond office.
