On Friday, Berkeley Supervisor Kevin Marshall, Salem Supervisor Dr. Deborah Frazier, and Battlefield Supervisor Chris Yakabouski, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Fredericksburg Health Care Center.

The new facility, located off of Route 1, spans more than 470,000 square feet and is the nation’s largest VA health care clinic.

This facility will serve more than 35,000 veterans and offer services including primary care, mental health, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and specialty care.

They begin seeing patients today, March 3, 2025.
