The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is pleased to announce the seventh annual Merry Trees exhibit. FAM’s gallery spaces will be filled with fourteen miniature trees decorated by second-grade students at Hugh Mercer and Lafayette Elementary Schools. Each tree is inspired by a children’s book the students have read in the classroom. Merry Trees will be on display at the FAM (907 Princess Anne St, Fredericksburg, VA) from November 25th through December 29th, 2022. We invite everyone young and old to come to the FREE Merry Trees Open House on Friday, December 2nd. From 5pm – 7:30pm, visitors will have an opportunity to see each class’s tree, participate in a family holiday I Spy game, visit with Santa in the museum’s galleries, and pick up a book from the Fredericksburg Bookmobile.
