STAFFORD, Va., 22554 – The Cyber Bytes Foundation (CBF) is proud to partner with Stafford County Public Schools and Spotsylvania County Public Schools to host the second annual Cyber Path Exploration Week. The event will occur on Friday, November 8; Tuesday, November 12; and Tuesday, November 19, from 9:00 am-1:00 pm at the state-of-the-art Quantico Cyber Hub (QCH), located at 1010 Corporate Dr., Stafford, VA, 22554. This event serves as a key opportunity for students to explore the growing field of cybersecurity as well as other technology-focused fields and prepare for careers in this critical industry.

The purpose of Cyber Path Exploration Week 2024 is to help close the industry skill gap and develop a workforce of effective technology and cybersecurity professionals by providing opportunities for students nearing graduation to learn more about in-demand tech career fields that help prepare them for the future. During the event, students will hear from industry experts CBF Executive Director, Mr. Cesar Nader; and keynote speakers for the event, Dr. Wesley Phillips, Director of Cyber Ranges (Quantico); Brian DeMuth, CEO of Rapid Ascent. Each student will be guided through an interactive, personalized cybersecurity career roadmap that will provide various cyber career options and the certifications, training, experience, and job opportunities related to each option.

Students will have the chance to explore several interactive stations, including the Career Exploration Hub, Cyber Defense & Hacking, 3D Printing & Battlebots, Understanding Cyber Attacks range, Drones & Coding techniques, and Computer Building & Virtual Reality Gaming in our VR lab. “We are excited about our continued partnership with Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties, as we bring high tech exposure and training opportunities to the community.
